Dave Fairburn is a seasoned cyber expert with more than 30 years of experience designing and implementing programmatic security solutions. Dave is nationally known as the architect and author of the Federal Risk Authorization and Management Program (FedRAMP).
He is a strong advocate for continuous monitoring and establishing a risk management framework that can be utilized to manage risk in a “real world” environment.
Dave has been instrumental in helping 12 companies achieve FedRAMP Authorization on their first submission. As “The Father of FedRAMP”, his knowledge and abilities benefit his clients by successfully navigating the FedRAMP process while leveraging his ability to communicate with all stakeholders.
Over the course of his career, he has acquired skills in executive management, leadership and mentoring, project management, technology sales, business development, information security, satellite, microwave, tactical comms, plant cabling, fiber optics, and broadband wireless internet services. Through his philanthropic efforts, he has developed experience with education program development, skills training and nonprofit management.
